Now, to put my previous post to shame:

Verbatim - a band I have never heard of (thanks Warren) from Fredricks, MD - has just released an excellent little slice of pop rock called The Pizza Party EP for free download on your Internet. They recorded the whole thing (7 tracks) over one weekend, and decided that no matter what, they would release it directly into the aether. This takes a set of gigantic brass balls, and for that alone I salute them. Furthermore, the music is great. Weezer-esque anthem “Night Turns To Day” (uhn!) makes me want to throw out my foot in the air Axl Rose style sitting in my chair. Then “Uptight” throws a sweet little jazzy curveball in your eyeball. Awesome.
